Hmmm, well I've always wanted to see the King of Bandit Jing series though I don't know if it's been lisenced yet :| It's hard to think of things that aren't...if Getbackers wasn't I recommend that...but I've also heard that Ichigo100% is supposed to be good...

Dang, i was gonna say 'king of bandit' but i guess not.
Maybe you could use the slot for replaying episodes of stuff incase people have missed them? Or maybe just re-show some old series, for example i completely missed out on Mahoraba (and selfish as i am :p) i would love you to run it again.

Air - I thought it was a pretty good series, both sweet and sad. It's pretty short, though (length: 12 eps?)
Rozen Maiden - i second this series. :) It's, again, a pretty short series, though (length: 12 eps).
Full Metal Panic:Fumoffu - I love the Full Metal Panic series! But seeing as they seem to get licensed so fast (this one isn't), you might end up pulling another Tsubasa with this series. :X I'd still love to see it though! (length: 13 eps)
Sailor Moon: Live Action - [aka Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon] I LOVE this series to death, and highly recommend it! ^_^ It's not an anime, but live action (and based off sailor moon, but with a very unique twist). Cons: It takes awhile to get used to it (it being 'live action' and all), but it's VERY hooking. It's 49 eps long, with several mini OVAs afterward.
There's my two-cents' worth. ^_^
if its something to replace suzaka, why not have something in the same vein?

Mushishi is an interesting anime about a "bug expert" who travels around what looks like feudal Japan.
It deals with ghosts and the supernatural, although it feels more like a campfire story.
It is thought provoking, and has beautiful artwork, so I recommend it.

How about it? Kamichu is about a girl who one day wakes up and realizes that she is a god. She goes to school and tells all her friends, and then they all wonder that kind of god she is. So they all go to the shrine to find out... that's all I've heard. But it's not a trick, because apparently she really did become a god.
Or... Elfen Lied. I've heard that's very graphic, so I guess not, neh?
Or Tales of Eternia? School Rumble? Mahou Sensei Negima?
Those are all worthy animes, I think. I still think Kamichu is the best choice though, even though I haven't seen it.

Licensed Property:
by definition, anything that's been released by a video company. the only stuff he can really look at is the stuff that's JUST fansubbed. The guys putting out the Naruto subs are skirting with danger since Toei's doing the dub...
Ignoring the 'no licenced Anime' policy, I strongly suggest One Piece. A dub so horrible as to brutally rape (merge) and murder (skip) 30+ episodes is criminal. Since there are so many episodes they didn't dub, you might as well look into it anyway.
Sinkuu, you're confusing Toei with Vis. Toei makes Anime, they don't dub it.
